Thecrewfinallycatchesonthattheyhaveanunwantedshipcrasheronboard,andtryeverypossiblemeansattheirdisposaltoeliminateit,buttheunknowncreatureseemstocoppingananti-deathattitude.Provingtobeanevenmoreclever,worthyadversary,'IT!'alsohidesoutintheventilationshaftsoftheship(nowthatshouldringabell).Cahn'sforcefuldirectiongeneratesconsiderabletensionasthemalevolentstowawayworksitswayupfromoneleveloftheconfinedshiptothenext,eventuallyleavingtheremainingcharacterstrappedatthetop.Themovie'ssuspenseisbluntandrighttothepointIT!'hastokillthemorstarve,hencetheyhavetokillIT!ordie.Nothinglikethosenotwowaysaboutitchoices.Rentit,orcheckforitoncableifyouwishtoknowtheoutcome.
